“Bourbon” Was the Whiskey They Sold on Bourbon Street*

How'd Bourbon get it's name?* At least that's what the Smithsonian says about the origin of the name. There are so many legends and yarns about bourbon's history that it's hard to know what to believe for sure. One thing that no one argues about is that it's one of the few spirits that can truly be traced to the United States in its origins. Bourbon as we know it today started being available in the late 1800s.

Learn more about Bourbon at our free/open to the public tasting event tomorrow at 3pm.
