A Moscow Mule, of course! A delicious mix of ginger beer, lime, and vodka in a coppery mug - and a tasty way to start your Friday. How did this strange and distinctive drink come about? According to Food and Wine magazine, a California bartender had a large stock of Russian vodka and a lot of ginger beer he couldn't sell. When he met up with an immigrant trying to sell large quantities of handmade Russian copper mugs, a cocktail legend was born! The drink faced prejudice during the 1950s Red Scare, but it endured to become a modern classic.
Start your weekend at Bacchus with the classic version, or try a whiskey-infused Jameson Mule instead.
