Where Were You in 1980?

We're playing music from the year 1980 tonight. Throwback with us.

What a year for music. Xanadu with Olivia Newton-John and the Electric Light Orchestra, Diana Ross sang, "I'm Coming Out" while Billy Joel chimed in with, "It's Still Rock & Roll To Me."

Queen was worried about a "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," Diana Ross was "Coming Out," Dolly was workin' "9-to-5" and Michael Jackson left the 9-to-5 upon the shelf and was livin' "Off the Wall." Blondie was "Atomic" and the Pretenders were vying for your attention with their "Brass in Pocket." You could "Flashdance" down to "Electric Avenue" order up a "Piña Colada" and "Whip It" and "Celebrate" good times!

Such a diverse mix of styles, all ushering the ME decade. Come to Bacchus, at 6PM as we kick off our new Throwback Thursday. This week it's 1980.

Our Thursday Tequila special continues…All Tequila $5.
