First-Timers Survival Guide

There's a tropical storm headed our way. Its name is Darby and, like most storms that hit the state of Hawaii, it's heading west, threatening the Big Island first and then on to Maui, Kahoolawe, Lanai, Molokai, and then Oahu. Stay dry and stay safe and be informed.
For specific details, please check the weather reports.

If the storm hits, we advise you to:

  1. Stay out of the ocean.

  2. Get together with your friends and play games or watch movies and/or enjoy this sexy 'men in the rain' clickbait below.

If it's just a bit of rain and wind, we advise you to:

  1. Come on up to Bacchus and order up your favorite drink
(A Bloody Mary? $6 Jack? Tokyo Tea?).

  2. Request that the bartender play a song/video or movie (from our selection) - daytime only - we've got DJ Kuya tonight at 10PM.

  3. Say hello to a fellow Bacchus customer you've never met before and make a new friend.

No matter what the weather is, at Bacchus, you will always enjoy our Aloha!

It seems that as frequently as we're saying good-bye to friends that are moving away, we're also greeting new friends that have just arrived. Bacchus extends a warm Aloha to Matt and Kevin (fairly new arrivals).

Today, Tuki opens the bar at 9:00 with delicious and surprising make-your-own bloody mary additions. The Christmas in July buffet luncheon from 12:30 - 3:30. An afternoon of cocktails and videos follow and tonight, DJ Kuya rocks the rafters.
