Every Morning

Wednesday in paradise is starting out rainy. What to do? Here's an idea: head on over to Bacchus for our 2-4-1 cocktails. Spend the afternoon with our handsome bartenders. Enjoy tasty drinks and friendly service. Tonight, DJ/VJ Matt is on at 10PM. No cover. Ever. :-)

Today is the 2 year anniversary of this blog.
Thank you for making it a success!

732 days = 63,244,800 seconds or 1,054,080 minutes or 17,568 hours or 104 weeks and 4 days.

We haven't missed a single daily post since starting out on March 1st, 2015. That day we featured a ever-so-brief story about our sexy bartender, Pauli (see photo below). He was gracing the pages of local gay monthly, Odyssey magazine. Sadly, both of those Honolulu "institutions" have moved on - Pauli now flies the skies for a major airline (and occasionally helps out behind the bar) and Odyssey was abruptly put to bed 15 months ago.

In the absence of a monthly periodical, we're glad to serve as your go-to guide for happenings and banter (albeit very Bacchus-focused for obvious reasons). Bacchus loves the community we have in Honolulu. Check our blog for happenings outside of Waikiki - like our recent story about hikes. Check back this week for a feature on Oahu beaches.

Check out our upcoming Trivia Night on Monday at 7pm.

We'll ask the competing teams at least one question about the asterisked link in one of the paragraphs below.

In the past two years, we've learned so much from our customers through our blog. You LOVE to see photos of our bar staff and customers. You LOVE to read serial stories. And, you LOVE to see sexy photos.

Our highest traffic in the last year has come during event photo postings and content that titillates. Like our feature on Filipino Men's Beauty Pageants.*

As we embark on a new year of Bacchus-blogging, we will bring you feature stories and on our bar staff and more and more images of you, the Bacchus customer.

If you have thoughts or ideas or individuals you think we should feature on the blog, let us know. How to contact us? Leave a note in the the comments section below (you need to sign-up for disqus to comment) OR leave a note on our Facebook page.

Thank you!
