Back Rubs

Welcome to the end of the weekend and the end of an era. Many singles, couples and groups have left Bacchus at closing time and had after hours adventures a couple of blocks away. The experience was always different, but you could always count on a diverse mix of individuals. We bid a fond farewell to Fusion Waikiki.

Be sure to stop by Bacchus and enjoy Tuki's always interesting make-your-own bloody mary bar or Bryant, Malcolm and Chris' excellent cocktails. A nice way to wind down on a Sunday.

Another way of winding down? If someone offered you a free back rub, you would probably meet their offer with a high level of suspicion. What’s the catch? Nothing actually comes for free.

You might think, "I don’t want some guy-I-don't-know put his hands on me. Why is he doing this?"

Is a back rub ever just a back rub?

Have you ever given a back rub that led to sex that wasn't going to happen without the back rub? Have you given back rubs without the thought of bonus touching ever coming to mind? Of course.

So a back rub can be just a back rub, but what about the "special hugging" afterwards? We asked around, here are some answers:

"If only I could have my back rubbed gently sensuously I would be in heaven."

"Perhaps, just perhaps the guy you are with sees you need a back rub and gives you one cause he cares."

"I've had back rubs from guys who just want to be nice, and I have given them for the same reason. If it leads to something more, it just makes you feel that much better!"

"You could always go to a masseur if all you want is a back rub."

"Any time you're touching someone, back rub or not, you're going to have one of the guys getting hot and thus getting screwed."

"Your back goes down to some very nice parts that need attention also..."

IF you do go to a masseur, be sure you're getting the rub down you desire. It's rare that a real professional masseur will treat you to the extra "finish" that is often joked about.

There are so many different kinds of massages. Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy, hot stone, Thai, reflexology, sports and Shiatsu. Trivia buffs should know that Shiatsu massage involves localized pressure using the therapist's fingers (or sometimes hands and elbows), applied in a rhythmic sequence along the body. Each point is held for about two to eight seconds.

So relaxing. Just like a Sunday afternoon at Bacchus. :-)

Come to Bacchus today (and in 2 weeks for the GMCofH beer bust where there'll be a massage therapist offering massages to help raise money for the group).
