Look Around…

Tonight is the Bacchus White Party. Dress in your sexiest white outfit and help us raise money for the Hawaii Life Foundation and Randy Cottrell’s bid to become Mr. Gay Pride 2017. Jack Daniels is on special for $6. DJ Takai and DJ Epic are both on the slate for the evening.

Just 4 weeks until the Bacchus annual Halloween $250 costume contest. Our theme is Gods & Monsters. If you’re a planner, we have some ideas for you. If not, make up a story, dress sexy and get some attention....

Because there's a monster (or a god) in most every character from Walter White to Hellboy.

For the past 4 Saturdays and for the ones leading up to Halloween, we'll be giving you ideas for your costumes. We encourage you to break free from the expected and traditional and venture in to costume territory unknown. Today we continue to explore the unconventional gods…

in CHINA

Jade Emperor (or Yuhuang Dadi in mandarin Chinese) is considered the highest deity ruling the universe, so he's the Zeus of Chinese world. In Chinese mythological stories, he controls all gods from the Buddhist and Taoist and other religions. Jade Emperor is worshipped by ordinary Chinese people throughout all China.

Yan Wang is Chinese king of death who commands all the gods of the underworld (see Hades). He has a filing book which records the life and death of every person. He gives appropriate punishment according to the conduct of an individual’s acts during his lifetime.

Long Wang :-) or Dragon King, is the trivial king of the sea. He rules his own royal court and commands all creatures in water. The Dragon King also controls the rain and winds and can bring rainfall to the earth according to the order of Jade Emperor.

Whatever you decide to wear to our Halloween Party, we know you're going to have a great time. The excitement is building. Next Saturday, more ideas....

See you tonight!
