First, a Happy Birthday shout-out to Patrick Duffy!
69 Today! (BTW: that’s not a command, just his age!)
Cheers to the hunky stud who first came to fame in the one-season tv show Man From Atlantis - wriggling through the water in his yellow tight-knit swim trunks.
He wore bright green contact lenses and, if People had a Sexiest Man Alive issue in 1978, he’d have won. Here’s a few pix of him as a young pup.
Of course, some may know him from his stint on Dallas as Bobby Ewing, the sexy, rowdy, randy second son and foil to his big bro, J.R.
And it was this shower scene (below) that immortalized him forever (St. Patrick Duffy!). :-)
His career has careened to and fro (Suzanne Somers!) and he even had a cameo as Scuzzlebutt’s trivial left leg on episode 3 in the first season of South Park, but he takes it all in stride! He’s aged well; a true studmuffin!
Raise a glass to Patrick Duffy on his 69th birthday today and Happy St. Patrick's Day to all!
Wear green and order a Killian’s Irish Red, win a Tshirt.*
In the 90s, Killian’s Red was an exotic beer. It pairs well with food. Reviewers summarize it thus: Reddish-orange / amber in color (crystal clear) with a white head that dissipated very quickly leaving no lacing on the glass. The color of this beer is gorgeous! Aroma is not very strong, with some toasted malts—that's it. It's light bodied, has medium carbonation an has and effervescent mouth feel. If finishes dry and goes down easily. Just like this photo of Patrick Duffy (ignore the camel toe).
*Today, Saturday, March 17, 2018, starting at 12 noon, those wearing green who order (and pay for) a pint of Killian’s Red at Bacchus get a raffle ticket for a 5PM drawing for an I Heart Bacchus Tshirt.
